Gestern Abend wurde der European Festival Award vergeben, der größte Wettbewerb der Festivals. In den letzten Jahren wurde Sziget mehrmals in einer der Kategorien genannt und erhielt den besten Preis.
In diesem Jahr wurden die Organisatoren des Festivals erneut mit der Verleihung des Preises „Festival des Jahres“ für die ungarische Veranstaltung gewürdigt. Die Urheber des Preises haben hervorgehoben, dass nicht nur die begehrten Programme im Wettbewerb gezählt werden, sondern auch das vollständige Konzept des Festivals.
In dieser Kategorie steht das Sziget solchen Festivals wie Glastonbury, Roskilde oder Lollapalooza voran.

Sziget won another great award!
Last night, the European Festival Award was handed out, which is the biggest contest of the festivals. In recent years, Sziget has been named several times in one of the categories and has received the best prize.
This year, the festival’s organizers were once again greatly appreciated by awarding the Line-up of the year award again for the Hungarian event. The creators of the award highlighted that not only the prized programs are counted in the contest, but also the full concept of the festival.
In this category, the Sziget has preceded such festivals as Glastonbury, Roskilde or Lollapalooza.

Újabb kitüntetést kapott a Sziget!
Tegnap késő este adták át a European Festival Awardot, amely a fesztiválok legnagyobb megmérettetése. A Sziget az elmúlt években többször is nevezve lett valamelyik kategóriában, és meg is kapta a legjobbnak járó díjat.
Az idei gálán ismét nagy elismerés érte a fesztivál szervezőit azzal, hogy a Line-up of the year, azaz a zenei felhozatalért járó díjat ismét a magyar eseménynek ítélték oda. A díj átadásakor hangsúlyozták, hogy a megmérettésben nem csak a kiemelt programok számítanak, hanem a fesztivál teljes felhozatala.
A Sziget ebben a kategóriában olyan fesztiválokat előzőtt meg, mint a Glastonbury, a Roskilde vagy a Lollapalooza.
