Zwei neue Schnee Eulen besiedeln ab sofort den Debrecener Zoo. Sie sind nur 8 Monate alt und befinden sich schon in der „Eulenzone“ des Zoos und haben sich eingelebt. Es handelt sich um zwei „Jungs“.
Nach Angaben des Weltnaturschutzbundes hat Ende des letzten Jahres die Bedrohung dieser Art extrem zugenommen.

Snow Owls come to the Zoo in Debrecen
Two new snow owl come from Amsterdam in to the Zoo in Debrecen. They are young, only 8 months old, and all two of them is a boy.
According to the World Federation of Nature Conservation at the end of last year, the danger of the species is increasing. Recently, their stock declined by almost 30-49%.

Két amszterdami hóbagollyal gyarapodott a Debreceni Állatkert. A két fiatal, 8 hónapos hóbagoly pár mindkét tagja hím.
A Természetvédelmi Világszövetség tavaly év végi jelentése szerint a faj veszélyeztettsége fokozottan nő. Az utóbbi időben állományuk csaknem 30-49%-kal csökkent.
A két új lakót a Bagolyröpdében láthatja a nagyközönség.
